My Life In The Making

I received quite a few messages this week from friends, asking me what I do as an entrepreneur. So today, I’d like to give you a little update…

Currently, I’m working on consulting-based projects, as well as creating and managing websites for small (as in one-man) and medium-sized companies! Plus, I’d like to start taking classes to learn a programming language (am still trying to figure out which language at the moment, so for all of you experienced programmers, please don’t hesitate to give me some recommendations!) in hopes of further advancing my skills in this area. Also, I had the chance to support a family member’s business here and there, which was great because I got some really helpful tips for my own, e.g. when writing your first invoice, it makes sense to mark it as invoice #1001, instead on invoice #1, so that your first few customers don’t immediately notice that you’re just starting out with your new business!!! Still, this alone doesn’t pay the bills yet, so I also have a mini job, where I work 2x a week. And when I’m not working or doing sports, you’ll probably find me spending time with my boyfriend, Michael <3, or hanging out with my friends Lissa (in the pic with me above!), Christina, Vanessa & Nicole.

Fortunately, I’m even left with some time to think about how I want to change the world and have come up with a couple crazy business ideas – one of which has already turned into a preliminary prototype and will be ready to present to potential investors soon!

So that about sums up what I do – for now. As for the journey ahead, I’ll keep you posted.
