I feel like we live in a world today where we not only completely rely on our phones for the alarm clock, address book and calendar function but to remind us of important events, give us directions and enable us to share and receive information anytime, anywhere. And that’s pretty amazing if you ask me but the scary part is that we have become so obsessed, we constantly check our phones for new messages or missed calls, we take our phones with us everywhere and no longer shut them off. EVER.
So today, when I saw the following pictures, I felt ashamed: http://www.boredpanda.com/portraits-holding-devices-removed-eric-pickersgill/
Phones are astonishingly practical and being available is great but when we become so consumed by what’s happening on a screen, we miss what’s going on around us and no longer experience what’s happening in the real world, that’s something to think about!
