Update

heart waffel

Since more and more questions regarding my company’s status quo, as well as future outlook, keep coming up, I thought it’s about time I gave you some detailed info!

Q: What does your company offer?

LA Preuss Consulting (www.lapreuss.com) is an online marketing company, founded almost exactly one year ago, that offers small and medium-sized businesses around the world the chance to build or improve their online presence. In other words, LA Preuss Consulting not only builds websites but offers search engine optimization (SEO) and the possibility to find new potential customers via online advertisement campaigns through digital channels like Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing, etc.

Q: What does a typical day at work look like for you?

Although a large part of my work day depends heavily on the project with the highest priority for that day, I write and answer e-mails, have a video call with a client every once in a while and sometimes meet up with either existing or potential new customers. Nevertheless, I’m super flexibel when it comes to choosing where to work (either from home, Starbucks or on the road – all I really need is a good internet connection) and when to work (really early in the morning, really late at night or somewhere in between)…

Q: How do you find customers?

Most people who know me, know about my company because I love talking about it!!! Also, no matter where I go (church, gym, grocery store, etc.), I always have my business cards with me, just in case someone asks for my contact details! So far this has worked out really well for me. I must admit though that the reason I founded the company in the first place was because I was getting quite a few inquiries from family and friends, which proved to be a great indicator regarding market potential. And with growing revenue streams, I now have enough money to reinvest into the company, including for marketing activities. Still, it’s extremely important to make sure your company has a diversified customer base and, currently, I’m working really hard to make this happen.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

Firstly, I’m so excited to get to hire an intern at LA Preuss Consulting for 4 weeks this autumn (mid Sep. – mid Oct.) and, although there’s quite a lot of bureaucratic work that comes with that, think that going from a one-woman business to a small team is certainly one tiny step in the right direction! Secondly, I’m thinking about visiting or even renting a desk at a Co-Working Space – just to have an office outside my home I can work from every now and then. And, lastly, I will continue pursuing the crazy startup idea with the startup crew (an international group of people with a big dream – you’ll be hearing more about that latest Sep. 2017)!

That’s all for now, if there’s anything else you’d like to know about the company or life as an entrepreneur – feel free to write me a message or leave a comment below!
