Today is a holiday in Switzerland and after sleeping in, I decided to hit the gym.

Depending on the weather, Mikey & I might have a BBQ later and after that, I think I’ll get to work on some of my website projects…

Break Habits

This week, I’ve decided to break some old habits, starting with doing my workouts in the morning because I’m beginning to to skip them as soon as additional work comes up in the evening.

Anyways, it’s 8:15AM and time to head home for a shower, some breakfast & then get to work! So far, I’m really glad I tried this!!! Plus, I want to challenge YOU to try breaking habits too this week because you never know what you’re capable of until you try!

Weekend Work & Delicious Dinner

After some weight-lifting in the gym and a late breakfast with Mikey, it was time to work on the crazy business idea that’s been coming a little short lately (there are quite a few other projects I have to work on during the week at the moment)! What I love most about working on the weekends is the fact that there’s plenty of time to try out new things. No one is in a rush to get results so you’re pretty free to test and re-do something as often as you like until it’s just the way you imagined it to be!

Plus, before I knew it, it was time for dinner. And since Mikey’s brother was celebrating his birthday, we were both invited to a restaurant nearby. I had antipasti with a main course of ravioli… Mmmmmh!

Keep Smiling

i'm back

My day began with some market research regarding market potential, competitors, etc., for the business plan. And I just about finished one of five segments before meeting up with Mikey for a quick downtown lunch. Then, headed back for a bit of home office: called up one of my potential customers and finished another segment of the business plan.

Whoop whoop: Two down, only three to go!

Well, high time to head outside for a jog and then get right back to work!

Today wasn’t just about work, I also went to the gym for a quick workout. Since I’m currently working on various marketing strategies for some of my customers, I get to come up with lots of new ideas which is fabulous but requires a little inspiration here and there too.

So once my ideas began stagnating, I knew it was time to dash to the gym!

Run World, Run

Jogging is so much fun, especially when you’re mostly working indoors, and the reason I absolutely love going for a quick run in the fresh air. Plus, even on the weekends, it’s a fabulous excuse to get out of bed early in the morning and do something productive. Not to mention the fact that by being outside, I finally have time to think without constantly being interrupted.

Mostly though, I’ll skip the stretching and go straight to the shower. But as I tend to get very sore muscles after a challenging workout, I’d really like to start stretching more!

Wednesday Workout

Today has been a really long day and now that I’m rereading an e-mail for the third time, I think it’s about time to get my mind off of work for just a moment and hit the gym. At an outside temperature of 8°C (46°F) and one icy bike ride in front of me to get to the gym and back home again, this is easier said than done but something deep down inside is telling me that a physical workout is just what I need right now to be able to come back refreshed and ready for tonight’s meeting at 8PM…
