Saturday in St.Gallen
What a fun day: Mikey and I decided to go downtown for a bit in the afternoon to try yummy food and support local musicians at the St.Galler Fest but came back home just in time to watch the women’s olympic triathlon on TV and cheered hard both for Spirig (SUI), as well as Duffy (BER)! In fact, after watching them finish their event, we were so motivated, we decided to go for a run ourselves-haha.
Ready, Steady, GO!
After only answering a few e-mails yesterday and enjoying the rest of the Swiss public holiday, it was super hard to get out of bed this morning and I’ve been having quite a slow start to my day so far…
Luckily, a nice warm coffee is just what I need to SPEED THINGS UP!!!
Wednesday’s Lunch with Lissa
Flashback to yesterday when I met up with my dear friend, Lissa, for a vegan lunch and dessert (chia seeds with mango and a bit of fruit and nuts – see picture) at “Vida” in Constance.
Mmmmmmh… it was super tasty and totally motivated me to get work done!!!
Chocolate
After a busy Monday packed with meetings, a working session and very late-night finishing up with work, Mikey and I treated ourselves to some delicious chocolate desserts at the #SchiffChuchi.
I chose the gluten-free brownie (left) while Mikey opted for the chocolate cake (right). They were both soOoooOoooo chocolatey and just too good to be true! Chocolate is just the best, am I right? Haha. Now, it’s time to grab a coffee and get right back to work – I’m currently in the middle of planning a brand new digital marketing campaign!!!
Enjoy your afternoon & make sure to treat yourself to something special every once in a while simply because you deserve to! xx

Lunch Date
Pancakes for Lunch
After heading to the Sunday morning service and going for a 1.5h run, Mikey and I have decided to crank up the music and make yummy chocolate chip pancakes FOR LUNCH. Haha-Sundays can be so much fun! In fact, I think I’ll do some reading today – there’s still so much I want to read up on for one of my upcoming campaigns… So excited!

Never Eat Alone
There’s a book by Keith Ferrazzi named “Never Eat Alone: And Other Secrets to Success, One Relationship at a Time.”
If you haven’t yet read it, you should! Basically, among other things, it highlights the importance of networking for both business-related and personal goals. Sure, there are people who despise networking, and I understand that it’s not everyone’s favorite thing to do, but I’ve tried it twice this week and had such a positive experience both times. One conversation turned into a huge potential new business project and the other was great for building up a personal relationship. In fact, as a rule of thumbs, I try to have lunch with at least 1 other person each week and can truly recommend that. In fact, all those of you, who work as a freelancer from home, will know that it can get get a little lonely at times. Therefore, I urge you to make the call, write the message or do whatever it takes to invite someone to meet you up for a meal.
Feel free to share your experiences here! xx
